During a visit to Lichfield Cathedral on Monday, the King was confronted by a protester who asked him about Prince Andrew's links with convicted sex offender Epstein.

The protester inquired how long the King had been aware about his sibling's relationship with Epstein, and also raised doubts about whether he had asked the police to "conceal" for Andrew.

Despite the heckling, there were throngs of supporters and applause for the King, who was in the region for an ceremony.

The Duke of York's connections with Epstein have been under close examination in recent weeks. The prince, who relinquished his titles earlier this month, has repeatedly denied any misconduct.

"For how long have you been aware about Prince Andrew and Epstein? Did you request the police to conceal for Andrew?"

The King ignored the questions but carried on meeting fans, some of whom chanted "God Save The King". One fan can be heard asking him for a embrace.

Another woman outside the venue was also heard telling the heckler to "leave" and to "be quiet".

Scandal Revived by Posthumous Publication

The scandal over the Duke of York's links to Epstein has been revived by misconduct claims repeated in Ms. Giuffre's recently released memoir.

In the publication, the accuser claims she had sexual encounters with the prince on three separate occasions, including once with Epstein and "several other minors"

Andrew, who agreed to a out-of-court agreement with Ms Giuffre in 2022, has consistently denied any wrongdoing. In a previous interview, he told a news program he did not remember meeting Ms Giuffre "at all", and that they "did not have any sort of intimate relations."

Fresh Questions About Finances and Living Arrangements

But in recent times, new inquiries have been raised about how he is able to finance his way of life despite not being a working royal.

The revelation that he has only ever paid a nominal fee on his Windsor mansion has heightened the scrutiny over his housing situation - even though he made significant contributions initially, including for improvements.

The political party said he should be called in before members of parliament to give testimony about his rental agreement of his lodge.

But last Thursday, the authorities declined to give parliamentarians time to discuss the prince's titles or his residence, despite growing pressure for investigation.

The royal household has not commented on whether Prince Andrew might move out of his current residence - or where he might reside.
